On Saturday, Oct 15 Sunday, Oct 16 over two dozen museums and historic sites across Union County will e open, giving history buffs a chance to take a journey through mor than 400 years of history.
The Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum will be open both days with member volunteers in the building to provide tours and showcase your local history. On Saturday, October 15th only, hearth cooking demonstrations will be given throughout the day. Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit the gravesite of Abraham Clark, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, who is buried in the historic Rahway Cemetery.
Stop by the Museum and receive a booklet listing all the participating sites and get a Four Centuries Passport stamped.
All locations will be open from 12-5 both days. See as many sites as you can!
